SNOOPY!!!

Yes, we're talking about the one and only many-faceted beagle, along with his unforgettable colleagues from the landmark Peanuts comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz.

Snoopy!!! was a fun-filled, heartwarming musical, a sequel to the legendary show You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. As in that show (which EMTC produced in 2000), our much-beloved Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and the gang took the stage to amuse us, delight us, and even give us some insights into life.

This whimsical, vignette-style show featured everything from Lucy's psychiatrist booth to Linus' blanket to the Great Pumpkin and the Easter Beagle, along with irresistible songs like "The World According to Snoopy"!

Script by Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates, Warren Lockhart, Arthur Whitelaw and Michael L. Grace; music by Larry Grossman; lyrics by Hal Hackady.

Snoopy!!! ran April 20-22, 2007 in the Parish Hall at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Montrose, PA).

"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"

You don't need to be a Texan to love the legendary Broadway musical called "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." You don't need to ever have set foot in Texas . . . or in the type of establishment named in the play's title.

You just have to love great musical theater!

It's about a small businesswoman's struggle for survival in the face of a crusade by politicians and the media. It's about loyalty and hypocrisy. It's about a story and songs (such as "Girl, You're a Woman") that packed 'em in on Broadway. Book by Larry L. King & Peter Masterson; music and lyrics by Carol Hall.

EMTC put this big ol' Texas show across with their tall order of Pennsylvania talent on June 22-24, 2007, at Mountain View High School (Kingsley, PA).

Blondes, Bullets, and Blackmail

Nick Holliday—the hero of last year's Lust, Lugers, and Larceny—is back!

Nick and Dora (his girl Friday) are hired by Donna Barrister, wife of District Attorney Dan Barrister and an old flame of Nick's, to learn the identity of her husband's blackmailer. Nick quickly runs afoul of a crooked politician, becomes involved with a high-priced madam and incurs the ire of a gangster calling herself the Duchess. Soon a simple case of blackmail becomes a far darker affair with dire consequences.
